FRONTPAGE_NO_TRANSLATION_AVAILABLE

Brist is the village on the very seacoast. That is the most southern place on the Makarska Riviera, about 40 kilometers away from Makarska, adorned by the beauty of the Biokovo mountain and historical cultural monuments. The inhabitants are into fishing, agriculture, olive groves and tourism, and they offer you the accommodation in apartments, villas and boarding houses. Brist is the birth place of many well known Dalmatian poets, let us mention just Andija Kacic Miocic, and it is also the birth place of the famous painter Mladen Veza. The St Mary's church was built by the sea in 1870, and near the church there is a monument to Andrija Kacic, a masterpiece by sculptor Mestrovic. The pines make even more beautiful sandy and pebble beaches and promenades. Besides swimming, there are many other sports you can play in Brist, like tennis, bowling, mini golf, table tennis and water sports. In Brist you will be offered local and international specialties and sea food. We also need to mention grapevine and olive groves, famous vine Prosek , and growing of cherries.
