Bratus is a place near Makarska that was founded when couple of families moved there from Podgora. This is a great place for vacation, as there are only 50 permanent inhabitants in Bratuš. It is a village on the seacoast, with a bay, the Kacic Manor and old stone houses. Well known ancient finding site is Gradina, is above Bratus, with dominant central rock and few smaller ones around the central one. Besides tourism, inhabitants are also fishing. In front of the village there is a pebble beach and a small dock from boats.
