Zminj is situated 14 kilometres south from Porec, and there live 722 inhabitants. The settlement was fortified by town walls and a tower which have been mostly preserved until today. In the baroque church of St.Mihovil there is a baroque inventory, a pulpit and a renaissance altar with pictures of Venetian school. In the place there is also a chapel of St.Anthony, built in 1381, the interior of which is illustrated by valuable pictures.
