Pjescana Uvala is situated 5 kilometres away from the town Pula. It is a modern touristic place that has existed only for about thirty years. Pjescana Uvala was discovered by swimmers and yachtsmen that used to shelter their marine vehicles from storm. In the place there live about three hundred inhabitants. Whereas it is especially a touristic place, almost every house can offer you acommodation in their rooms and apartments. The St.Nicholas church is of white and blur colour and is boat shaped. There is a marina for renting yachts in the place.
