Zaton is located 19 kilometers northwest of Dubrovnik. Many villas were built here, as the landscape is very beautiful. The most famous ones are villas from the famillies Gucetic, Mancetic, Sorkocevic and Lukarevic. In Zaton there are beautiful bathing resorts and auto-camps, which makes it the favourite destination for many tourists. Local people from Dubrovnik come here for excursions and trips.
