Ubli is located 10 kilometers from Lastovo. There are 218 inhabitants in the village. Ubli is both a settlement and a harbor, the most important one, located in the deep baz Velo jezero (Big lake). The name of the vilage has its origin in the well of drinking water. In Ubli we can find the oldest sacral remains on the island – those of the St Peter's Church. The St Peter's Church that is is use today was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Also notable is the St Luke's Church, built in stone.
