Sobra is a small village that was the main port on the island for a long time, but inhabited quite late, between the World War I and World War II. The village is located 7 kilometers east from the Babino Polje, and there are only 68 inhabitants living there today, traditionally growing wine grapes and olives, also doing fishing and tourism. From the rich gastro offer you must try the fish prepared in traditional way. You can come to Sobra by ferry from Dubrovnik, or by catamarans, and you can find accommodation in private apartments. You can visit The National Park Mljet or Dubrovnik.
