Slano is located 36 kilometers from Dubrovnik, with 512 inhabitants. Slano is located at the back of the bay. People from Dubrovnik built Knezev dvor (The Duke's Court) in Slano, and nearby there is also Ohmucevic family villa, the franciscan church and the church of St Blaise. On the hill Gradina there are remains of the ancient Roman encampent.
