Podaca is a place on the Makarska Riviera. It is made out of three hamlets: Kapec, Viskovica Vala and Ravanje. In the entrance to Podaca there is a round tower made from stone. It served as a defense from Turks. Not far away there is a church St John the Baptist, and the church St.Stephan the First Martyr . The church  of the Mary of Birth was built by the sea. Podaca has beautiful beaches and stone houses where you can find accommodation.
