Bozava is 18 nautical miles far
away from Zadar and 35 kilometres from Sali. In this place there live 134
inhabitants today. This is one of the most beautiful places of the Zadar archipelago.
It is rich in woods. Bozava was frequently attacked through history, and as an
evidence there left the old city walls and courtyards. Still today, some of the
houses have these stone walls with loop holes. In the place there is also the
St.Nicholas church in which still today the three procession Holy Crosses are
kept. They were made by Stjepan and Pavle Kotoranin, the artisans goldsmiths of
Zadar.
